With King Arms saying thay are releasing a Gas Blow Back (GBB) thompson and a Eletric Blow Back (EBB) Thompson over the next year thought I would share with you some pictures which have recently been put up .

I hope the EBB will take the mags already in use with other thompson on the market otherwise thats a pretty big turn off for me.

Looks bloody good though - at first look I wasn't convinced they were pics of an airsoft Thompson until I saw the close up of the hop adjuster!

indeed very nice, i wonder if that's the aeg as the hop is standard it would look like normal mag's ,the hop would need to be different for gas routing .

armoury
m1a1 Thompson,sten mk2,mp40,stg44,sterling,mk2 bren gun,lee Enfield no4 mk1,Mauser Kar98, Walther ppk,smith and Weston m10 and Mauser m712
Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well

These are the pictures of the AEG. And yes good shout on the hop its the same as the other thompsons. So taking the normal mags looks like a stong possibility.

Looks far better than my home made lash up.

However looks like it is still using the M1A1 stock attachment instead of the 1921/1928 slide on stock.

Very true, but look at the beautiful charging handle on top instead of the side.

Looks like it's the M1A1 frame, too - there's a notch at the back of the grip.

It had a nice sound on full auto. Doesn't sound like a sewing machine.

Mine arrived about 2w ago and was shooting 375 fps out of the box. A few thousand rounds and compressing the spring brought the fps down to a steady 325 fps and I used it for the first time at the weekend.

I LOVED IT! The EBB is a nice gimmick, sounds great and doesn't drain the battery. The range is ridiculous thanks to the KA hop (the best IMHO) and the ROF is nice and high but not too high. It has inherited the annoying ability to lock up on semi, just like the TM and Cyma so a FET may be in order but all in all, my new favourite gun!

Great to hear! I'm definitely picking one up for my US Army PTO kit.
Have you used any low/midcaps for it (KA, TM, Cyma etc) and know if they fit? I don't see why they wouldn't but it's best to ask anyway!

Not that I would buy the AEG version; it does look of superlative quality all the same!!! One thing concerns me though - I cannot seem to find it (the EBB version) anywhere on sale in the UK yet (and that imo doesn't bode well for the release of the GBB for this year, which is what I, like many others are waiting for...)
