Hello, new to the forum and just starting a new WWII loadout (looking towards a US Tanker)

I just picked up two of the KJW 1911A1's a few weeks ago. I had been looking for a WWII issue style 1911A1 and the TM and WA versions come to the USA just loaded with orange paint. Sooner or later, I'd probably end up getting a full metal kit, but was hoping to find something I could use right away.

Tried the WE and it was'nt bad. Magazine had some issues but I thought I could deal with that. Then I got my hands on the KJW (they are very new over here). What a major surprise.

The all metal finish was very good and there was little to no rattling (although my real steel WWII 1911A1 certainly does). It's a clone of the TM, so parts are certainly available.

I was able to test fire it and was very pleased with the results. Excellent power and accuracy with "green gas". Trigger was kind of light, but so is the TM.

More used to high capacity airsoft pistols, I was surprised at only getting about 28 shouts out of a gas fill. However, the WE had been less and I have friends with WA's that only load about 20 bb's in their magazines to make sure the pistol will have enough gas to lock the slide back.

I've been able to engage targets out to over 100 feet with success and I'm quite happy with the purchase.

I'd appreciate the opinions of shooters, who have most likely had their KJW 1911A1's longer than I have. All comments welcome.

Thanks
