I have a WE P08 luger. Both magazines discharge all their gas on either the first or 2nd shot. its almost as if the trigger plate that operates the gas valve on the magazies isnt disingaging. When this happens if you refill the mag with it still in the pistol you can hear the gas coming straight back out, but if you drop the mags out you can refill them ok.

Ive treid silicon spray on the trigger plate area but no improvement.

Has anyone had similar problems, suggestions?

Thanks

Mine does the same. Not found a solution.

Yes done a bit of online checking, it appears that the main problem with these guns are the weak trigger and sear breaking. On closer inspection of mine I noticed that the firing arm is not moving when cocked. Apperently spares are not available. Trying to pluck up the courage to strip the assembly and see if there is some way of effecting a "botch" repair

I had that problem and I unscrewed the little screw on the mag where the Gas button is (That was technical) put silicon on the rubber seal worked the spring a lot and it seemed to work OK. It only goes like that when it is cold now?? otherwise it is OK

In my case Im pretty sure its not the magazines, i can fill the mags and manually operate the button on the side, they will give out a small burst of gas and return to position.

The problem seems to be with the trigger plate, I have stripped the gun down and there is no mechanism for the firing plate to return after firing, I was expecting a spring or lever or something. Tommorow I will search the web to see if I can find an exploded view.

If not I have a couple of ideas how I can botch a repair :good:
