Will post up some pictures on Thursday when hopefully this will be finished! ![]()
Just finished the wiring, just need to make the tailgate and the front sight now.
All of the stock has been made out of pine, and then stained to a walnut finish. I have put a battery compartment inside the main stock which is accessible. Stock and handle have been made out of 2 pieces of wood clamped around a piece of 2mm thick steel, which is then bent around the tube of the bazooka and fixed in place.
I have also put some bolts through the tube at either end so that the plod is satisfied that it wouldnt be able to launch anything

Now that looks cool. Also like the fact that just after the firing the youg lady holding the camera can be heard to say "'ooh. Pardon me." Did she get a shock when it went off ![]()

It's actually much further on than this at the moment, but this is the only photograph I took of it.
As it stands all the wiring has been done, and the nodes for the charge have been attached to the back.
Not sure I will have it done and painted in time for the Bloody Gulch game, as I've got to get all of my gear sorted tonight.

:good:

The Wehrmacht wont need bazookas to blow up the enemy tank, we have loads of pyros, sticky bombs, mines & other top secret weapons

Yes nice work mate

Free speech is expensive these days!

wow..just saw this thread....
lucky ya'll are in the UK....those set ups would have the ATF knocking on your door here...lol.... i know from personal experience..
made some M9's about 7 years ago that used styrofoam rockets powered by D size rocket motors...
I think there you have a difference, we're not allowed to make bazookas which launch things, mine just has a small pyro in the tube which creates the smoke, i have big assed bolts through the tube so that I can prove nothing can be launched through it.

With the race up to Saint Lo coming up fast, I have almost finished the bazooka!

Very nice Webby! ![]()
Looks great
have there been any rules worked out for its use at St Lo? Marshal driven maybe?
“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942
"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
Joseph Stalin, November 1942

yes, it's all worked out. We won't give it away here though, so it'll be a surprise, but it's all safe and sorted!
I really wanna sort out the brass hand guard on the grip, as its at silly angles, but I can't really afford to spend anymore on it!

Looking really good mate, how much did it cost you if you don't mind me asking?
