just lost everything I was typing, so this is the new condensed version.

Dean's M1 Garand has issues with firing bbs. using the M14 mag is fires alternate 'good' shots and pathetic shots (which fall to the ground within 5 meters).

using the converted shotgun mags it fires one pathetic one, and then fires no more.

I assume this is to do with a feeding type issue and was just wondering if this had been encountered by anyone else.

Of course with St Lo 4 days away the timing could hardly be much worse....

My instinct says hop rubber because it sounds like a problem I had with my thompson once.

or nozzle, or tappet plate...

I have a spare tappet plate (somewhere)... but taking an M14 apart is a right bugger
