It's a GBB, I'm using 134a Green gas. It's not pushing the slide back far enough to load the next BB, I'm having to manually cock again to fire another round... :s
Any ideas what might be wrong with it?
Is that a WE one? A lot of people have reported no problems with them, but exactly the same thing happened with mine - in fact it was just totally dead, and I was told that the springs simply aren't up to it.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
134a is NOT green gas, EVER.
Green gas is something completely different and is usually given the designation HFC22. You have the wrong gas.
See the discussion here: http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/php/phpBB2 ... c&start=30
It is a WE all metal one. The slide is recoiling but not quite back far enough.
Does this mean the gas I have is too weak then and I should try the next one up in that scale Yith?
Yup... you want Abbey Ultra, Green (i.e. HFC22) or Propane.
k thx.
I feel stupid for buying 3 bottles now :p Oh well, they can be used for the 'nade ![]()
Don't feel so bad... its a common mistake. "Green Gas" is a stupid name anyway.
And it's further confused by my 134a gas coming in a green and white can!

Yup... stupid isn't it!
For any Western Arms 1911A1, anything other than Abbey Predator (134a) will kill it. (Green and white can on the right of pic below)
For an all metal 1911A1 anything less than Abbey Ultra (Red labelled can) will prevent it cycling effectively.

Hi Morgs
Seconding Yith ...
I too have one of these, propane cycles it perfectly whereas 134 won't .
Anyone wanna swap their Ultra bottle for a 134a bottle ar CR? ![]()
I may be able to help... but would prefer not to lose a whole can as its really the only stuff that'll go in my M10. The nozzle on my propane adapter is too short for it
I can give you a squirt of propane though no probs, but a can won't do you much good as I'm not parting with my adapter, lol!
I don't have that much use for 134a either. I already have one can for my Browning, and I never use that as I think its just too fragile!
134a could work for me in my luger
but it seems like kind of a problem to find it here in venezuela so I was using thetrafluorethane "duster gas" and then I didnt find it any more now Im using butane gas "lighters gas" but it works only in sunny days iff not I have to pull the toggle mechanism between the shoots
any one could give me other sugestion for gas I could use in my luger? ![]()

I could be an a luftwaffe ace you know?..........................................................................Die Unsichtbare Waffe!
PROPANE, but you need an adaptor.
you can find them on arniesairsoft

Carl (Airsoft Innovations) has launched the fourth version of his propane adapter and being the nice chap that he is has sent over the first shots of the new design. The new design incorporates a high visibility protective cover, and is now an all-in-one design so you
