Hello,
Like the title says, how would you convert a well MB02 into a De Lisle carbine?
Bear in mind it'd need to avoid major workshop type procedures!
Most of it can be done with time and a dremmel tool except the joint between the butt stock and forward woodwork , that needs a major engineering solution or to make a one piece wooden stock and fore grip combined .
Alternatively you could contact Warren at shoot-n-scoot , he makes a De Lisle and might just sell you the bits you need and can't make your self .

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well
Depends what tooling you have to be honest. If you need any bits let me know over at Vintage Airsoft as I make trigger guards/rear band units to take original buttstocks and a metal magwell for quick reloading I'll be offering soon on my rifle selection.

Not sure if you're after a minimialist build or something that doesn't require a machine shop? Minimalist would be to slap some PVC pipe (35 dia at a guess) over the front of the gun (you'll need to cut a slot for the magazine to fit into), close over both ends and marry all the bits with something sticky.
Each step you take beyond "meh, close enough" will help it look much less like a VSR with a comical silencer on the front.

Aye, me too, I've had a few copies on other things haha. Tis why I put my build posts up publicly: I've learned so much from build posts like yours, crapworks and others it only seems fair that I show people how I build mine so they can learn from those.
