Hi all.
Picked up an AGM MG42 in need of some serious tlc.
One of the things missing is the charging handle.
Could anyone measure theirs up and post some dimensions and pics so I can whip up a basic one just to finish it off cosmetically?

I'll Dig mine out tomorrow, and have a measure up, from memory there is a clip on the side of it, but that's not really needed.

Just need the handle tube size and the rod size/width etc. I can obviously get a rough idea from images on the Web but there's a lack of dimensions out there.

Not so clear, I was doing this in the dark!
The handle piece, is slightly barrel shaped, 75 mm long, top diameter 15mm, bottom diameter 18mm.
From the top, 40 mm down the box section 13x13 mm is welded on slightly arched, attached to a channel like piece, this is pivoted at this point to form the catch.
The slide bar that fits in the rail, is welded on approx 15 mm up on the channel section, slide bar is 12mm wide, 200 mm long.
Does any of that make sense?
