So having f*cked up my new MP40 amd made it unreturnable, I am now finding that the magazine clip isn't functioning very well and given a proper shake, the mag falls out. Feeling inside the mag reciever the clip really doesn't protrude very much, which probably explains the issue.
Anyone else experience this particular issue ? I'm going to take it off tomorrow and try reseating it, but unfortunatlely I may have a genuine issue.
Um there's a washer fix or somthing for that - It's been ages since I did mine.
I'll dig it out and see what's what - unless someone can confirm by posting in the thread
I did read another thread that mentioned that, but taking it apart today I can't work out where to put a washer to push the retaining clip into place. I have found that when I press down on the clip form the outside of the reciever it bites on the mag and holds it in place, but having had the thing apart, I can't work out where to put a washer to have that effect.
Here's a look at the results of today's efforts. Next steps are to fix the mag catch and try and make the plastic lower and handle grips look a bit more bakelite and worn/faded
