i could strap some optics to my shoes, doesn't mean they'd be any use.

Technically it'd be easy to attach a scope to an MP44, but i think the rarity value of finding it on the field in real life would tend to make it against the 'spirit' of ww2 airsoft.

Also, i'm not sure about that photo specifically, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was a staged photo at a proving ground or something while it was being tested.

MP 44 didn't get issued with scopes, and as DM says it would rather be against the spirit of WWII softing, as any weapon can be fitted with a scope and called "experimental"

What am I saying  , I've got an MP44....... where's me red dot experimental SS uberscopen ???

Don't forget your 'Vampyr' night vision set for it as well. Then you can have an 'experimental-experimental' MP44.

no mate, i was just pointing out that it'd be a bit unfair on the rest of the players if you had a scoped fully auto MP44, and so would take some of the fun out of ww2 airsoft games.

Also, 'experimental' weapons, by their very nature, didn't usually ever make it out into the field, and so yes, you could scope an MP44, but it's not worth it.

Only in a gentle way  DM is refering ot the Vampyr IR night fighting kit which was very experimental and trialled on MP44s just as the war closed .

Turn up with a working Vampyr attached ot a Shoei MP44 would be uber cool , turning up with an M4 scope plonked on top on an AK47 would be to quote Gucci , Uber Ghey :D

the scope in that pik was issued with the FG42 quite a bit, though I agree with OS, it might be harsh on other players.

Apart from anything else under our rules you would be classified as a sniper and restricted to single shot!
