Hello all,
I know some of you know that I am currently building an airsoft Vickers 303 MMG (smooth-jacket version). Well work is slow, and not progressing as fast as I'd like, but here's some pictures I took a week or two back. They're not brilliant photos, and they don't do it justice (it looks more rough in the photos than in real life) and it's now got it's spade grips semi-done. Sorry there is no pictures of the internals yet, as that the part I've been spending most of the time on (it's an full length alli' framework incorporating a type-1 gearbox and associated hop unit).

You can see it's size (full scale) compared to the water-bucket/ammo crate/cider cans! And please bear in mind that I've been building this entirely with a set of screwdrivers, a hand drill, a set of files, and a junior hacksaw while living in lodgings in Oxford as I've moved here due to a change in job. It's given me something to do with my time while away from home! Once I'm moved in with my girl up here properly in our own place, it'll come together much more quickly!

PS: The tripod is half complete too! Again, sorry for no pictures.

Nice job should look good it shows what you can do with only a few tools.

It's nearly complete!!! (Finally got the damned ammo feed - over a foots worth of ally tubing shaped - all sorted and it now fires wonderfully from it's internal hi-cap). With only one more evenings' worth of work available before D-Day to add detail and paint it. At least it's now 'usable', but I'll see what I can get done to make it look more decent.

Anyone coming to D-Day got any spare AEG fuses they could bring? Need something a bit high rated (think 'turbo FA-MAS'). 15A? I'll pop into Maplins and see if I can grab some.

Sorry no pics.

 hehe, actually it's one of the few times I have shaved off my sideburns since I started growing them! They were getting a bit thin and whispy. I'm only 22!
