What would the difference be? Surely the sniper one is the same but with the scope?

On the sniper one the bolt handle will be bent, rather than straight so that it doesn't hit the scope when lifted.
Personally I'd prefer the normal long mosin, but with deacs at just over £100 and really wanting one for re-enacting, it seems daft getting an airsoft mosin (no matter how nice) for three times the price when I already have a very nice ppsh for airsoft.
Zeta Labs are probably a "one man and his dog" operation, like I suspect Hexagon Productions are and there is only so much he can churn out at a time.
AGM MP40 - AGM STG44 - CYMA Thompson M1A1 - WE P08 4 inch - Marushin M1 Carbine GBB - AGM Sten MkII
There is also the HP PPSH-41 which is about, and cheaper than the Mosin Nagant anyway. If you're starting WW2 airsoft I'd say the PPSH, but most people around here might say that the next purchase should be some kind of bolt-action, as that was what made up most WW2 armies! Of course you could always have 'looted' weapons as well, such as the MP40, STG44 or Kar98.
Yep I'd say if you want a boltie, either this or a Kar98.

I like the fact there isn't any farting about with gas just a spring you can up and down grade with any AEG spring nice idea.

Free speech is expensive these days!

Full length one is in at Airsoft World £375 http://www.airsoftworld.net/zeta-labs-mosin-nagant-full-length-mkiii-airsoft-rifle-pre-order.html
If it was exceptionally accurate in its shots I could still be tempted ![]()

You're certainly right!
It says on the airsoft panda site that the sniper version can now take any brand of AEG springs....This is a sure buy for me.

Yes I also like that idea ![]()

dont forget the orignal carbine and full length could also take any AEG spring but just wasn't shouted about a great deal.

Based on user reviews, the carbine at least, had a proprietary spring and only a Systema PSG1 spring could be force fit.
ah yes true my mistake, carbine had a different spring but the "old" full length version could take any AEG spring.

Just ordered one of these:

I have a friend who I just made a Mauser sniper for and close by we have a area that looks like this:

Nice site - hope that's fibreglass lagging not asbestos!

Those walkways look a health and safety nightmare too lol
Impressions:
U.S. 35th Inf Tech Sargeant
British Royal Artillery Gunner
Generic SS Mann
Weapons:
Cyma M1A1
ASG Sten MK2
ASG MP40
TM M1911A1
WE Browning High Power
HFC Mauser C96
Yes it`s not the safest place but for Stalingrad skirmishes it`s perfect ![]()
some people may call me silly, in fact im sure many do
, but id play on that site.
im a big beliver in personal risk assesment. if your not prepared to break a leg, fall to you death, drown in a 40 year old oil vat, then dont play, or go a safe route round the area.
reminds me a bit of the site condition at the arnhem game in 2007
, a very drunk mr porta went rat hunting, and tripped and stumbled all round site.
on a serious note, i totally get why an ORGANIZER would baulk at such a site, its a nightmare to be RESPONSABLE for it.
But if someone said, "im playing here and any like minded players turn up at own risk on such and such a day", it wouldnt put me off, though im sure most people are arsed about insurance and all the other flummery that gos with it ![]()
"Take that you rotton helping of strawberry flan!"
Joseph Porta to "strawberrys and cream", in the sven hassel book ,ogpu prison
Yeah, I've played in areas not dissimilar to that. To keep safe mostly requires not going up onto those walkways... There's no need to really.
Porta, I didn't like the 20 foot drop into water at the Arnhem site... Luckily I knew where it was. heh.
