a quick look on ebay turned up nothing (avaliable to your country anyway)

found http://www.gunboards.com/sites/reichoutfitters/index.html Have no idea on the seller but seems quite cheap.

found these as well http://www.buymilsurp.com/stock-used-no-handguard-or-metal-russian-m9130-mosin-nagant-p-42673.html again have no idea on the seller but possibly worth an email.

Or sand the stock and stain it? If that was the problem.

Stu

Just got my sniper version of the Mosnin Nagant but tI do not like the stock to much, does anyone know where I can get a cheap real steel stock? If it`s in England it would be cheaper to ship to Norway where I live than from the USA, and the americans do not like to ship any gun parts over seas nowadays :?

What didnt you like about it,i have one sitting with customs now nearly ready for me,and now you have made me nervous, was it the colour??

Yea what is wrong with the stock?

Yeah, whats wrong with it?
Does it look like the one on the web site?
That one looks good.
My real Mosin and SVT40 look like that, once you strip the post war shit off them.
High gloss tinted lacquer is not the name of the game.

The stock is way to pale compared to the real steel stocks, looks alot like the Tanaka Kar 98K stock witch I replaced with a real steel german one, hope to do the same with my Mosin Nagant

Nothing wrong with that. My old, battered much repaired Mosin is mostly that pale 'pinewood' colour. It has splints and repairs and was covered in that crappy post war gunk. Under that it looked ok, uniform, conforming to sate norms some might say.
The reality is that is one of many millions built in a rush, repaired and sent back to the front.
The colour of the stock is not important. It's ability to free the motherland from the Gitlerite hoards is the sole concern.

What's the wood finish on these? What was it on the real ones? Oiled or varnish?

Why do you always carry that umbrella?
-Bad memory. Never could remember the password. Knew no Jerry would carry one. Had to prove I was an Englishman, you see.

They're all varnished, both airsoft and real.
