bung TM uzi mag internals in & you get a 350 round job, instead of pulling the top of the mag off to re load it which can be a bit tedious, drill a hole in the side & pour them in, seal hole with black tape & your away, mag stays in gun as you refill, this hole could have ben better 4mm nearer the front edge but it still works ok :twisted:

Slightly off topic, but can anyone who owns both Tommy gun and MP40 give a definite / subjective answer on "what am bestest WWII Gun". ?

It would be nice to think we'll have a flood of German players now ther appears to be a cheap good axis weapon .

The thompson & mp40 could be classed as equal but each better in certain fields, mp40 you can get 2 for the price of 1 thompson, mp40 comes with battery too ( although standard batt is not too powerful ) the mp40 is more compact & should be more powerful straight out the box, mine is 315 ish, Thompson seems although less powerful to be more acurate, with its full stock you should not get caught out half way through a fire fight with a flat battery, the mp40 looks nice but only time will tell on how robust it is, the thompson build quality is A1 with the exeption of the barrel whic is an easy fix, if you had a budget of

He has US kit though! Grease Gun 3 cell pouches are the same as the 30 rnd Thompson pouches arent they? Thompson mags fit in the large rigger pouch, think the MP40 mags are longer.

I`ve just noticed mine has developed some rotational play between the receivers, I found out its caused by a small roll pin located on the mag well which holds the locating tab to the front receiver. The pin has worn the hole slightly causing the tab to become floppy. I fixed it by removing the pin and doming one end slightly, then re inserting it and applying a tiny amount of threadlock on each end of the pin. Seems to have done the trick. :D

Ah crap - Zero One bloke said he can't do it, cos the hop is part of the barrel. :( He is going to sort out the double-BB firing tho.

Have a look at this;

I found this on the ASUK WWII Airsoft Re-enactors (Europe) Forum.

Aye, I've seen it, but I have not the skills, the tools nor the parts to do that, unfortunately.

[edit] I might add that I'd pay anyone on here who could do it for me.
