www.airsoft-news.eu have just posted this new article:

It looks to me like a brand new make of MP40...

Hopefully there'll be more on this than the "wallhanger" Sten Mk2 that was on there a while back.

It's SRC, so it wont be too bad on the outside, but the internals will be crap. Still, from the photos alone, it looks like it uses a regular TM type barrel - a vast improvement on AGM's crappy system!

I dunno..Why make another MP40. When there is plenty of other ww2 weapons to choose from.

You can get DIY blueing kits. I've done and air-rifle or two this way.But it will not stick to cheap pot metal.

Yup, they're blued. The problem is that if it even sees a raindrop, the bastard start rusting :(

It's ironic isn't it? The AGM MP40 is the one, single gun which can really be credited with kickstarting WW2 airsoft properly, giving axis players a cheap, yet pretty authentic weapon. Before it came along, the choice was very limited and VERY expensive for axis players.

Now, all we seem to do is pick fault with it and hope for a "better" one! I'm sure there's a moral there somewhere!

I love my AGM MP40 but sadly it gets little use. Like most people with small children, getting a weekend off to play WW2 Airsoft is impossible so I play in WW2 gear at open sites... And I need at least mid-caps to keep up with the M4 / AK brigade so I really hope this new gun comes with AGM compatible hi-caps. I'd buy a bagfull straight away!

PS I will be at the Falaise game in September though!

I liked my MP40 until it died completely at Haggard.

Luckily Gadge was on hand to loan us his for the afternoon.

My mp40 worked fine at bryansk, lasting the whole event on the same 1400mAh battery :)
