Knife kills, yup, not a problem.

Supersoaker flamethrower. No. way. in. hell. Someone comes at me with that, it wont be a rubber E-tool that gets wrapped around their head, it'll be a real one. Yes, AEG's will handle a surprising amount of water in the form of rain, but something with enough pressure to get into the gearbox WILL screw them up.

Firing a cloud of flour is a VERY bad idea as well. Flour dispersed in the atmosphere can be highly explosive - i joke not.

knife yup, supersoaker-probably not what with all that expensive kit, however what about polystyrene balls? Perhaps an air cannon or a blower and those? Only prob they'd need vaccing afterwards.

and 1 CO2 Extinguisher per side, wont affect the "AIR" in the tunnal enought to affect breathing

IT WILL WORK, NO ONE GETS WET, GREAT IDEA

thats what i thought, it disperses quite quickly and one "shot" of ti isnt too much.

dont you get petrol power leaf blowers? a make shift nozzle and some for of "amo" owwould be easy enough to fit.

Aye, you could top-load tennis balls into such an arrangement.

i think as far as flamethrowers go, CO2 has been the best option so far, by a long way.

They're already heavy and cumbersome, don't last very long, but only cost about a tenner or so to refill and very easy to plumb in a new nozzle/firing attachment.

The co2 content in tunnels that size won't be an issue and it disperses quickly leaving no residue to damage guns or kit. Well, unless you're taking a canary into the tunnels as part of your sapper impression, then it'll be fatal to it.

Knife kills with a rubber training type knife are ok with me, If an e tool is being used it would have to be "LSRP Safe" Foam Type.

Sorry, Supersoaker flame thrower's are not a good idea imo, for variouse reasons expressed.

Short and sweet (ish):

Rubber weapons, knives etc. sounds good - realistic and not too problematic

Supersoakers/fire extinguishers etc. not for me - not being 'pissy', but no I don't relish the prospect of having my kit unnecessarily drenched, covered in flour or sprayed with anything else really - :D

Knife kills get a definate thumbs up from me, especially as I want to get a bayonet (rubber) for my K98. I fancy an axe too.
As for the flsmethrowers; I like the idea but like others I have my doubts. If CO2 can be used safely and effectively it could be great, especially at games like Wotan (although i'm not going).

CO2 is safe, and its the only one id advocate.

BUT NO spraying closer than 1 metre.

no effects on kit, aegs, or breathing. 1 per side no probs, but if every 1 has a co2 bottle flamer , it would get stuffy

i imagine it'd be pretty easy to come up with some sort of harnes to hold a tank of Co2 on your back. it could be painted too to look less obvious and a longer hose with trigger on the end should make using it easier.

Re flamethrowers - the PPP offering is the suggestion I'm happiest with at the moment, however, to what extent the overall effect is different from a hicap firing AEG I don't know - :?
