I usually turn up to fun weekends in greens and a single pouch on the belt.

As I learned in Iraq, if you don't need all that stuff, don't carry it. You just look like a plonker.

My old teams Russian kit was pretty simple.

Blue urbans, balaclavas and a vest for ammo, nothing more than that really.

Rarely used radios either...

Wow thats the kinda loadout i wanted,but with a chest rig just for mags.

Those vests are pretty similar to chest rigs, they cover your ribs and sit pretty high.

Holds 8ak mags and four grenades and a few smaller pouches for bits and bibs. We tended to use the inside left mag pouch as a pistol holster but some of the russian vests have them built in instead of two mag pouches.

Modern CIS kit is incredibly good, much better than current US and UK kit surprisingly.

Its the BEKAS paratrooper uniform with the M23 TARZAN vest.

Great kit, comfy, hardwearing, loads of pockets and the bluetiger is possibly the best low light/night/urban camo you can get, you literally disappear in shadows.

We were on a night patrol at senny and the only think we could see of each other from two or three fee away was the black of the vests and balaclavas as black doenst blend into the night as well as blue does.

Nice i thoght it was called shadow stalker or something???
Instead of getting a 3 hole balaclave id just get the eyes one dont want to get shot in the gob! All i have to do now is find a decent AK on RSOV.
