So, due to the non availability of PPS Kar98k, I have pulled the trigger on a PPS Chiang Kai Shek from Airsoft Tiger. Very similar outwardly, would people have any issue with running this as a replacement for a Kar/Type/Springfield? And how many mags do people tend to run? Have gone for the GG version.
I have 4 CO2 mags and 1 Green Gas, I don't have any more from a purely economic position.

It would be fine for any side; I've never known an organiser to stipulate 'German's must have a K98, US must have a Garand etc'. A wood stocked bolty is fine for any side, at any game

Thanks for the replies folks. Just got to wait out on it arriving now. Customs ....grrrr...
You're sorted for than Special Naval Landing Force Impression now as well, mate.
Indeed. I have my pith helmet already afterall...
I only have 3 mags for my kar98 and that is more than enough. I always get shot before I've gone through all 3

Ralph
Update - rifle has arrived and its great really like it. 1 quick q though. Are people keeping gas in the mags between games to keep the seal tight or are they Ok to degas?
You should always keep gas in mags whenever it's not Co2. Co2 mags should always be emptied when not being used.
Further - struggling to get them flying straight and level - still overhopping and then I tune it down and it underhops. What weight BBs are people using?
Put .30's through it, go higher or lower in weight until best is found, I don't know what sort of range you'll get, or consistency of shot in cold weather with it, gas can be frustrating in cold weather.

Running 3s currently getting around 60m (measured with google maps hitting next doors tree). May try .4s....
