Now its realy allowed, so no more deleting and yes still with my horrible english.
Hello comrades,
to the market is going next Shpagin. This time Czech-made rifle by company C.G.T. .At this point I can say this:
- Development is approximately one year and the gun will be completed by spring / summer this year
- developers placed maximum emphasis on authentic processing. The authors did not accept cheap metal plating of gearbox with something that reminds Shpagin, but the whole gun is made from scratch in a similar way as with the sharp difference that is adapted for installation airsoft mechanics.
- Are respected thickness, many parts are turned and milled. Where it goes, it is observed point welding technology, including surface inequalities, as the original weapon.
- Due to the construction of weapons is expected to authentic mass
- Is a great emphasis on detail. For example, cocking lever is milled from logs and not from the square, as is the case for competition. The barrel is not smooth tube, but has roughly hewn surface corresponding to the original war. The radius of the trigger gard isnt same on front and rear, the switch mode displacement grooves and much more.
- Each weapon will have a unique serial number stamped using two Cyrillic letters and three digits on the radiator, the trigger guard and barrel, as the most original weapons.
- The weapon will be available with low-cap drum magazine for 71 bb‘s. Its based on original war magazines. We prepare pre-war model of drum magazine used with PPD40.
- The weapon is in two versions. The first model by the end of 1941 (the PPD40 sights) and the second from about 1943 (Flip Sight)
- Functional switch shooting mode with good logic is commonplace. Behind individually forward dose. Carefully review the video of one of the competing companies.
- The basic version of weapon already saving battery and contacts with MOSFET
- Completing the prototype safe and if everything goes well, will function as on the original weapons.
- Shooting parameters may not be accurately defined, but they would not be bad. The prototype is a Chinese type gearbox TM version 7, with bronze nozzle with "O" ring, which substantially prevent air leakage, metal hop-up chamber and 6.04 mm precision barrel by Systema.- final price should be, including horrible czech VAT, about 15 000 CZK (about 790 USD, 500GBP). It's not exactly the least (China really can not compete), but in my opinion, for this quality is not too much.
The accompanying photos, you see some minor flaws in the current prototype production, such as uncompressed at the bottom of the cooler. Of course we all hope that this will not remain in the final form
Very interesting - thanks for posting that up. Interesting to see a a AUG hop-up unit being used...

Now we're a country we're run by a..........
It sounds lovely! But £500? choke... ARGH!
So, I can't help but feel that the PPSh has become a bit like busses, you wait ages for one and then 3 (or more) turn up at the same time! At least the current crop are all pitched at different areas of the market (this one being as much a re-enactor weapon as an airsoft one).

It wasn't pretty I tell you.

The only problem with that is, a genuine deac costs less than £200, so it's not going to be picked up by that market, and at £500, it's going to be a very small airsoft market too.
As nice as this one is, it's far too much of a 'niche' weapon to warrant what, four? manufacturers knocking them out now.
yeah way to many ppsh makers. They need to get some good shooting rifles at a reasonable price done - British, German and Russian.
The US have the M-14/Garand conversions, so no money in it for a manufacturer.
I reckon if any manufacturer came up with a decent AEG Garand, they'd sell shed loads - think of the US market.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

Indeed, especially as there's a wood and steel alternative for half the price.
Yes as nice as this may be with the spate of Chinese versions on the way I think they might stuggle to sell these. They might be better off turning their attentions to something else. A DP28 would be good choice for a CNC heavy AEG in that price bracket, I'd pay £500 for a good one of them.

I soooooo nearly picked one up for £110. Thank god my g/f was there to beat some sense into me - as I have no need for one...

Nice work on the grip area around the motor.
The problem I saw when I started mine was trying to make the area big enough to take the entire gearbox and motor so I opted just to use as much wood as I could and not make it like the real one with metal inside the wood.
It's the strength of the wood stock I worry about with these.
I presume you still have some work to do with the mag well area.
This is the one I am just finishing off, I just have to make the fire selector and finish the mag release.
Free speech is expensive these days!
WW2 airsoft guns are like bl**dy buses - you wait for ages for when then a dozen show up. Shame that they are all the blinkin' same!
When oh when will the ACM guys realise that whilst I'd like a PPSH, Sten, Garand, Tommy and M1 carbine I don't need four of each. Jumping on a bandwagon = MASSIVE FAIL, China!

And there in lies what maybe is the most bizarre quirk of our hobby, deacts are often cheaper than workable weapons for skirmish.

Niche it may be, but our particular little niche needs a tad dash more variety of weapons to chose from, i'm sure we all have our own pet wants. Its just blooming typical that several manufacturers come up with the same idea that matures at the same time as a sell-able product! DOH!s and facepalms all round!

hi i'm an airsofter from belgium who plays as a soviet in the ww2
and i wonderd if anybody hir knows that the ppsh41 of hexagon is good ???
Chief Engineer write this 10 days ago, so now its almost done
To date, technologically taken up and completed all the small milled parts. Everything is made from fair-quality steel products in comparable with real weapons (regardless of cost, which start to take monstrous proportions. But with an expected closing price one has not moved.)
In mid-March it will be ready a first series of stocks and weapon will be ready for testing and tuning. On 2.4.2010 start sales (to avoid , it makes Aprile joke)
How is this project going?
