Any further news on this? I've been eyeing up a co2 Springfield as a base for conversion but would rather get this if I could.
RWA official release is published http://www.blog.redwolfairsoft.com/single-post/2017/02/03/RWA-Lee-Enfield-No4-Mk1-Bolt-action-Rifle-Spring-powered . 320fps out of the box. Nothing new though, and no release date or price...

From what I've seen from the IWA show pictures, redwolf have it on their stand and The shop at the Grange are taking £50 reservation bookings although they are not giving out details of the release date or final price.
I must say, I feel the Shoot and Scoot product will always be the best option out there. I've got a beautiful old style SnS No4 Mk1 and it out performs any other airsoft weapon I have ever had. The quality of craftsmanship is amazing, and more than that, buying from Warren keeps the cottage industry alive here! By the time you've ordered an RWA (at whatever price they set it at...eventually!) and paid for postage and import duty you could probably have bought a nice SnS No.4 and a set of webbing!
Keep it in the UK . I'd rather wait a bit longer for a hand made rifle than a mass produced option..
Mate I'm not being funny but I've seen four different examples of the S & S gun and they've been crap. Poor quality casting badly finished wood and very overpriced. I'm used to spending money on quality guns I've had several tanaka k98 and currently upgrading a Tanaka G33. I appreciate your loyalty to Warren but to say the s&s is better than the RWA is absolute tosh.

Loyalty to Warren aside - I'm yet to see a Shoot and Scoot example which is badly finished or with poor castings.. The No.4 I've got next to me is full original woodwork, one casting and the rest is original metalwork, would rather pay a bit more and get that than some factory produced thing! Just my opinion.

600?!?! And they only want to sell 500 of them?
Given the price I feel this is likely a spring version of the KTW? gas Enfield.
is that the one from grange airsoft? (this one http://www.grangeairsoft.com/sniper-rif ... ld/dp/2585 )seems odd that if its an rwa enfield that its limited to 500 worldwide and grange airsoft has them all...unless im misunderstanding the wording

So any more news on these?
Do we have a release date? Are redwolf going to sell it themselves? Or only through other retailers. Are we absolutely sure they are £600 full wack?
I put a £50 deposit down with the Grange airsoft shop. Was initially told May then July. With the recent fire wiping out the redwolf uk warehouse I'm expecting it to be put back again. No idea of a definite price, they said at the time the final price would be dependant on exchange rates but £600 doesn't surprise me if you look at what a new Tanaka is going to cost you and it's still half the price of a Systema. Wether it's any good or not,now that is the gamble....
RWA have posted some new images, but no release date so far...

After posting one of my usual sarcastic comments on One of Red Wolfs many Facebook posts, they came back today with the reply that the Enfield is going through final QC testing and to stay tuned.
How do they justify the "used most widely"?
Canada and the UK were the only ones using the No.4 and fielded around 4-5 million men (in all branches: land, air seal). Compared to the Germans peaking at about 11 million in the Heer alone, and the Soviets losing around 20 million men over the whole war.
Most theatres? Would be a close run thing with the K98 and Type 98
How do they justify the "used most widely"?
Maybe they mean used by the largest number of countries/nationalities?
Britain (and Commonwealth)
Canada
Poland
Free France
Most other "Free" - Dutch, X Troop, Greek Sacred Squadron etc.
Even so, if you count all the various foreign units and freikorps the Kar98 might still beat it?
"Most used" by the winning side?
"Most used" by the winning side?
Would that not be the Mosin-Nagant then?
500 world wide limited sales sounds bloody stupid, there's loads of us over the pond that have been waiting for these.
"Will you stop talking about the war!!"
"What, you started it!"
"We did NOT start it!"
"Yes you did, you invaded Poland..."
After chasing Rwa Uk, RWA and Redwolf Week in and week out this is what they told me :
-According to schedule , The gun will be on sale late October (Probably in line with cod ww2 to maximise sales)
-Lastly they said the retail price would be between 500-600 USD (with current exchange rates thats (£376-450)
Im getting to excited lol.

It doesn`t normally pan out like that due to the vagaries of import duties etc. If a gun costs $500, then by the time it reaches these shores the price here will be £500 .
