First Time I've ever heard the word Vagaries so that will be added to my personal dictionary
At this point it's just fingers crossed for the price
Looks like the airsoft magazine is in the same location as the real steel magazine, plastic, probably removable yet only holds 30 rounds?
I guess there will be a L96 style loading arm to drag bbs from the mag to the hop up.
the magazines are metal, if you look at the material list voor a spare magazine,
Red wolf have posted today that the release date has been put back to end of November because they are waiting for parts. Might be in time for Christmas at this rate.
I’ll stick with S&S.

- Gun: http://airsoft.tiger111hk.com/p36951/RW ... _info.html
- Mag: http://airsoft.tiger111hk.com/p36952/RW ... _info.html
Has anyone handled one of these in the flesh yet?
Yeh I fondled one at Fire Support - they have some for £649 plus £30 per mag!!
really heavy bolt pull but looked solid enough, didnt have a chance to shoot it. Wood looks overly dark. Nice rifle but at this price not a goer even for me
I’ve got one. Not skirmished it yet but put a couple of mags through to set the hop and chrono it, it’s hitting the back of the 60 yd range at Ford consistently with 0.28 bbs. There’s is much consternation on various Facebook groups that the rifle is terrible, it’s made in Asia and won’t work over here, or it’s overpriced.
Well so far, I’m very happy with it. Yes the spring is quite heavy, it takes a wee bit of effort to pull back and push home. I think a lot of people’s problems is they are cocking it wrong. I always place my thumb on the back of the bolt, lift the bolt and pull back, in straight alignment, I then send the bolt home pushing with my thumb and gently putting the bolt back in place. That’s the way I used to use my vsr and it’s the way I do all airsoft spring bolties.
The rifle is lighter than the real thing by about a kilo but still feels nice and solid, like any airsoft gun, it's not going to take the abuse of a real steel gun. I’ll give it a go at oosterbreek but I’m sure my poor aim and the fact that I’m firing 6mm bbs rather than a 303 round will affect my results more than the rifle.
I'm looking at getting one of these too, being in Canada now I can't get an s&s one, is it worth it, I'm looking at around the $800cad in the end with 5 mags.
"Will you stop talking about the war!!"
"What, you started it!"
"We did NOT start it!"
"Yes you did, you invaded Poland..."

Hey all ,
Just a heads up with RWA many if not all the rifles have a factory fault with the bolt system. Mine had metal ball bearings that came out and the rifle bolt system was completely FUBAR. I recommend you contact your supplier and have the rifle to be serviced. If i remember rightly Zero you purchased from the same place i did : the Grange. Mine is currently being serviced by the lovely technician over there, you might want to get in contact( As i was told by him that RWA were pretty adamant in having all the Lee enfields refitted with the new bolt system).
Regards,
Will
Thanks for the heads up. I'll be skirmishing it on Saturday so see how I get on but I'll be on the look out for ball bearings and see what it's like after the event
For another kick in the guts - I have just got back from Hong Kong where they are retailing at £420ish not £650.......
WillG you were correct, I had feed issues on Saturday so I called the shop at the Grange yesterday and the Enfield is being picked up by a courier and sent back to have the issues sorted. No troubles and a professional service from the shop.
Hi All,
Had mine repaired and then suddenly feeding stopped.
Please everyone carefully think before you purchase as it is a lot of money.
I truly do not recommend the rifle, it is poorly manufactured . The bolt is inconsistent, the feeding is inconsistent even the colour is inconsistent on some of them !
Everyone I know has sent them back. after they broke within the first day!
RWA are already planning to release new parts for it but guess what; they are not free.
If you want it as a showpiece/wallhanger fine but you may as well buy a Deactivated wartime Enfield for cheaper !
I bought a Well D69 and that is more reliable and consistent that the RWA N04, and its worth £60.
Me personally, I am going to wait for the release of the G&G N04 which they have confirmed is in the making.
Good luck to you all who currently own one, If you're not happy with it get your money back.
Good afternoon Gents,
I note that the last time the RWA No.4 was mentioned was some time ago.....and it was less than entirely highly rated !
Does anyone have any up-to-date insight into whether things have improved ? I note that they did a Mk2 version which, while allegedly sorting the bolt issues, also down powered it to 300fps which is hardly helpful for a supposed 'sniper' rifle ! However, I read some stuff on a Canadian site where OP had converted it to full on WWII sniper configuration and was very happy with it, said it functioned perfectly and there were no issues !
I'm also curious as to whether anyone knows about successfully up-powering them to get the full 450fps max for many uk sites ?
Cheers in advance
Changing the spring would up the power, though effective enough range and accuracy can be had from a decent hop up and tightbore barrel.
A sub-350 rifle also means that you can use it without having to worry about a minimum engagement distance.
While RWA Enfield is a nice looking piece of kit, it’s still not sorted mechanically. The only way to sort this is to get it done is not by the factory, but by after market means.
Either doing the upgrades yourself or getting someone to do it. I know that means more money, so personally I would build one from scratch, at least then you can put in what you want, not what a far away factory throws together.
