Hi guys its the crazy Japanese re-enactor again...
I was away for a few weeks in Nepal and managed to get caught up in the very unfortunate Earthquakes in the region. This was just days after I got my hands on a Martini Henry as well. I've been thinking of doing a World War 1 and 2 British Indian loadout for a while now.
Does anyone know any makers either mass produced or Custom for the Lee Enfield SMLE rifle. I have access to real thing at my club and there is a deactivated one above my fireplace plus a rubbish Denix piece somewhere. Would love to get my hands on a spring Airsoft one though... any ideas I hear there is one available in the US?
Thanks guys
Iron Airsoft do a SMLE, but they are crap and expensive (and the mags double as excellent IEDs). There are some customs ones out there, but depending on who's doing the work, be prepared to pay ridiculous sums of money and wait so long that the only use you'll get out of them will be when you include them in your will.
If you do decide to go down the custom route, make sure you draw up some agreements regarding deadlines, guarantees, costs and postage before you pay a single penny. Although personally speaking I would try and make my own.

Shoot n scoot do them ,I'd offer to make one but I'm kind of booked into 2016 already .

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well
Hi mate,
The SMLEs that are made by Shoot and Scoot are great. I've had one myself, and K98 and No4. Cannot recommend the build quality, look and feel highly enough! They have great range and accuracy and you should be able to get spare mags off the market for them no bother!
They're not the most ridiculously expensive guns in the world - Better than any others I've seen.
Best regards
Euan
I'm developing a load of bolt-action rifles at the moment, it depends on how much of a hurry you are in though!

I built one out of a Denix SMLE and a VSR. All I can say is don't bother going that route!
