Anyone know anything about the Snow wolf Thompson. Seen it for the first time on a list of items available fom Honk Kong, is it the same as the Cyma version re-packaged?
Sadly it seems that AGM aren't producing the MP40 anymore. Have had a couple of price lists from various suppliers and although the Sten and the MP44 have been on them the MP40 is always missing. Asked one supplier and he thinks the moulds might have gone the distance. A real shame if it has gone as it was a cracking bit of kit for the money.

I'm glad I have a couple then (MP40s that is) and a TOP one which something could be done with at a push......
LOOK! I ham now four meggle man!

I thought ASG were knocking these out now,
all be it with some massive price variation as low as £139.99 and as much as £220.
Armoury: AGM MP40, AGM Sten MkII, K98K/vsr and Maruzen P38.
ASG????
Which ones the Thompsons or the MP40's. Would really like to get my hands on an MP40. Never kept hold of any I got in as never thought there would be a problem getting more
ASG do the MP40, airsoft armoury have some £159.99 black only and Action Hobbies £134.99. I think the thompsons are marketed by Cybergun, but not sure who makes them but believe they are still Cyma.

I think the ASG MP40s are rebranded AGM.
Yup. Same as the (new) Sten. Just think they have added some trades. The Sten's have BSA on them and the MP40's have ERMA markings.
Being cynical this seems to be the Cybergun way put trades on something it's then marketed by them as they own the trade rights then whack the price up, just how I see it.

They are on ehobbyasia now
GUNS: (ww2)
AGM sten mkII
Classic Army Colt 1911A1 GBB pistol
ARES PPSh-41
Deact Mosin M38
The Sten's have BSA on them and the MP40's have ERMA markings.
With regards to the Sten's marking, it' nothing more than a "flag of convenience". BSA only made around 10% of all Stens that were produced - and the real thing sure as hell did not have the ugly markings that ASG decided they should have!

That's funny, AirsoftGI here in the USA just started stocking AGM MP-40s (as well as AGM Stens... sure enough they do it RIGHT after I order mine from a sketchy retailer and overpay... oh well).
Well, the snow wolf M1A1 magazines fit the CYMA M1A1.
Just took delivery of 2 hi caps from RSOV.

Good news. My 2 have just been shipped.

Did you have firing issues with them?
I was in a semi-only game yesterday, and with hicaps I was getting random shots that dropped a few feet in front of me, but my KA mids were fine. I have 3 high caps - The original one that came with the gun, and the 2 new Snow Wolf ones. While I don't know which of the mags I was using when I had the problem, I've never had this issue on semi before.
Therefore, I can only assume there's something not quite right about the Snow Wolf mags that could be causing intermittent air seal issues in my Cyma.

I havent skirmished with my 2 yet. I had intended to use the CYMA at my local site on Sunday, but I had a cold at the weekend so I couldnt breathe, nevermind skirmish!
Although I notice that the Marui hi-cap M1A1 magazine that I have doesnt like AW 0.25 bios that much and they do give intermittent feeding issues in that magazine. Bloody bios...

Veeeeeeery intersting. I had similar issues with AW 0.25 bios in my Sten, but my M1A1 was fine.
The BBs in this case were AW "Precision" 0.2g bio, but I'd not had any trouble with them until these 2 mags.
Midas (on Zeroin forum) has suggested the new mags might be shifting the hop a bit, causing problems. Considering it's screwed to the receiver, that could be stressing the mountings if that's the case.
The 0.25s were a nightmare in KA MP40/Sten mid caps.
There does seem to be a bit more of a clunk and some more resistance when putting the SW hi caps into the gun when compared to the CYMA than with the CYMA or Marui hi caps. Marui's feed holes look countersunk, SW's arent.
Maybe some gentle countersinking with the SW feed holes will do the trick?

definatly is that problem, even a little movement of the chamber can misalign it and the nozzle doesent come foreward and seal causing massive power loss ,ive had it before and strangeley on full auto its fine with only the first bb dropping.rather than trying to cut the feed hole why not just file a bit off the whole for the mag catch so the mag sits 1/4 to 1/2 mm lower because then you dont have to keep the latch pulled back while you cut or strip the whole mag.as for bb's its excell all the way unless the site requires bio's .

Sorry, I can't visualise what you're trying to say.
Countersunk the SW feed holes last night.
I just done it by hand, checking every little while and referencing the Marui one for how much countersinking was needed.
The magazines now insert as nicely as the Marui and CYMA ones
AGM MP40 - AGM STG44 - CYMA Thompson M1A1 - WE P08 4 inch - Marushin M1 Carbine GBB - AGM Sten MkII
I'll try that myself.
My M14 was doing something similar. That was really funny, though, because the rate of fire, and speed differential of the BBs made the odd situation where sometimes the fast one would actually hit the slow one in front of it about 3 feet from the barrel.
