I have this rifle for my basic Heer PzG impression.
I've noticed with standard .25 BB's it goes practically vertical at about 15 metres even with hop wound down fully. Other than that it seems straight using .4 BB's but still hopped to the max. ( Bear in mind I'm using iron sights so God knows where it ends up 30 metres away!)
Can anyone give me some pointers on keeping it accurate? As I get one plink before getting hosed by a gaggle of Thompson's/PPSH's etc it might be... beneficial...
Not sure I’m understanding this, you say you’ve got the hop full on? That’s why the bb is going skywards, .25 would be too light anyway, .36 - .40 will be better, wind the hop out, so the bb is dropping, then apply bit by bit until it fires straight.
@lord-elpus cheers. I assumed th .25 was too light. I'm going for the .36 now. Thanks for the confirmation!
Gamo makes the best BB guns and pellet air rifles.
