A bit more expensive than "normal" grenades, but a lot of fun. I also like the ring-pull ball grenades.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

One of our guys had the stick grenades go off in his pouch, he was lucky as the first one split the bag and the others went off at his feet, it was funny at the time but could have been a lot worse :)

To be honest lads, with regards to safety, there's just short of bugger all in them to do anyone any real damage, unless you're daft enough to dismantle one and confine the cracker in your hand :D I believe they have around 0.2 or 0.3 of a gram of ally flash in them. They are a very nice airsoft simulation though, and there's something very cool about the pull cord igniter :)

And we have been talking about redesigning them to make them better proportioned and more "realistic"

To have a stick grenade go off in a pouch means he must have removed the end cap - No other way to initiate this device except a good hard tug on the string. So he must have jhad them in head first with the strings out and a twig or summat caught the string, pulled it - fizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz bang.

As Baggy says - .25g in them and around 10g of peas.....

We are also tentatively looking at a decent pineapple grenade. Will be friction I think as fly of lever is so expensive....... To give you a clue of what's involved just to bring you a 3.50 grenade - the tooling is in the region of 10 - 12 K for the mouldings........

Making the stick grenades more realistic would get my vote. :good: They're cool as they are but being able to use them more like props would be nice. Could I also suggest increasing the weight slightly? The ball grenades are actually slightly heavier (at least mine are) which helps you throw them further. So a little extra weight, particually in the head end would help improve the 'chuckability' of the stick grenades.

I'd also like an M24 BFG but I guess thats not really your area. 8)

We have a sound unit suitable for reloading into BFGs but after the debacle surrounding the so called "Botach" reloadable last year we decided to give them a miss.

Never say Never though - who knows what we may ressurect in the future....... A nice pineapple and possibly a Mills would be desirable though. and with our pull fuse system the egg grenade is a distinct possibility.

A decent Pineapple grenade which you could hang off your suspenders or belt would get my vote. If the spoon could be replaced with a firm clip (so that the grenade could be looped over the belt / through the D-ring on the suspenders) I would buy loads hehe
