Just saw this http://www.taiwangun.com/en/ww2-set-sr- ... aign-id=19
£110 off the gun, plus charger, battery and a load of ammo.
still £260 for a gun that will need a re build before you pull the trigger .£150-£200 maybe .

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all

Is it that bad??
Those SRCs dont even feed properly, sold my SRC MP40 for parts after getting tired of it trying to tape all kinds of stuff on the mags to make them work properly, without success. Maybe they fixed that, I will steer clear anyways as MP41's were not used by the army, its a German police machinepistol.
Yeah the mags are a problem for the SRC, I found that by putting a packing piece at the top of the back of the magazine (where the spring starts) They feed perfectly, though hold fewer rounds, and a bit of tape on the front and back of the mags solves the wobble issue. I also heard that replacing the nib on the end of the spring with an MP5 mag nib will solve this problem without limiting mag capacity though I've not tried this. Oh and while the blow-back looks and feels great it's normally a good idea to disable it for the sake of reliability.
It's a very nice gun....once you've got it working.
I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.
i re worked some src mp40 mags recently and was surprised that they got off the design table , i removed the securing pin ,slid the innards out and placed about 2mm of packing inside the magazine shell at the bottom then re inserted the innards and re drilled a hole for the pin , this moves the inside of the mag up 2mm in the receiver ,i also found the mid caps were made 2mm too large at the feed hole where the hop enters the mag ,i used a piece of brass tube pressed onto the feed tube on the hop to make a snug fit ,it means it could no longer use the high cap mags as they have a much smaller hole in the top of the mag !
