Unfortunately, using a deact is a definite no-no. Even converting it to an airsoft weapon is classed as reactivating it. If you can't manufacture any parts, then you're only choice would be to convert a replica.

...but I would suggest reading all the threads on here from those who have gone before - I know Zib are not held in high regard by at least one person.

There's been rather a lot written on this forum about building MG42's - the search function will find a lot of info! :)

When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

Or, if you don't have the budget or the metal working skills required to build a metal MG42, you could try your hand at building the cheapest PVC MG34 lookalike....I made this out of PVC, Sintra board, Cyma plastic AK reciever and gearbox, 600mm innerbarrel, PDI210 spring, type 0 cylinder. Shoots around 450fps.

That MG34 is superb, have you written a 'build guide' on it :good:

For basic MG34 builds, you could check out Star Wars blaster builds for the "DLT-19", which is an MG34. There are a couple of PVC build guides out there for those.
They usually don't have any airsoft installation, though.

I purchased the John-tom plans, be careful he's file was hacked and I got sent a load of porn with it, He re-sent it after I complained and it was then clean. Not a bad gun to build and not to hard either, that said I have gone and got a zib!

Lt. Morris Schaffer: "Second rate punk," eh?
Major John Smith: Sorry. All I could think of on the spur of the moment.
Lt. Morris Schaffer: Thanks, that makes it even worse.

that mg 42 is great but would be so mutch better if you could lose the jubilee clips in favoul of something more discrete, still verry good though.

armoury
m1a1 Thompson,sten mk2,mp40,stg44,sterling,mk2 bren gun,lee Enfield no4 mk1,Mauser Kar98, Walther ppk,smith and Weston m10 and Mauser m712
Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well

I was confused there for a moment (and went looking for the John Tom plans), until I realised you meant jimmiroquai's MG34, not an MG42.
