It all started with a conversation about fitting a 1911 into a German holster when a guy in Danemark pointed out these...

http://www.ima-usa.com/product_info.php ... cts_id/677

Two of us have ordered them to share the postage, I ordered mine to go along with my FG loadout as I've since found the Vis was issued to the police and paratroopers.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vis_pistol

So I'm now thinking of converting a Bell 19111 into a Vis but those gucci looking grips look like they are going to be a pain to get right, so any offers of advice would be welcome! I am aware that this started off in life as the Polish Radom.

These look to be similar holsters ? >

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT

Never used the company, just happened to do a search after having read the thread, as I'm going to need a holster myself at some stage - seems a reasonable price ................. ??

Joker you're right they do look very similar. It seems the easiest way to carry a 1911 with a German loadout. I dont know if its classed as "Farby" but I'd rather use a 1911 than a luger, in an airsoft battle.

Jimbo only re-enactors use FARBY. Me, I would rather enjoy a full on game wearing a black boilersuit and use whatever weapons I could get if that was what I had available :good:

A WW2 pistol is a WW2 pistol! Especially when it's holstered and noone can tell the difference anyway.

Yup any ww2 pistol can be captured kit. Or in the case of a 1911; a STAR Model B 9mm 1911 clone bought from Spain (used by german police) or Norwegian M/1914 1911 clone produced under German occupation. I'm very tempted to get one myself actually. Are there any full metal 1911s out there with no markings on that I could add my own to?

I'm not sure if the Tercel one has markings. Available from Airsoft World.
http://www.airsoftworld.net/airsoft-gun ... ter-1.html

Link text is a bit misleading, but it is a 1911.

Anyone have any experience with the Tercel 1911? I've not come across it before, not that I've really been looking.

Someone on the Fort forums might be able to help - I know a few people there have them.

I got one for my Uncle not long back. It was excellent. Think of a full metal TM 19111 and you're there. It even has TM trades on it! A bit thirsty on gas but hey, you expect that from a single stack mag in a full metal pistol and it's not as if spares are expensive!

Wow an Arnie robo-soldier version ?

"The .45 long slide, with laser sighting.
Pawn Shop Clerk: [Hands the Terminator a .45 gun] These are brand new; we just got them in. That's a good gun. Just touch the trigger, the beam comes on and you put the red dot where you want the bullet to go. You can't miss. Anything else?"

LA - Pete mentioned this full-metal TM clone to me, If I didn't have a WE version, I'd prolly buy two :D

It's got exactly the same trades as the TM one.
