Aye but my recommendation was to get a feldgrau tunic before a smock, smocks may have been 'common' on 21st panzer.. being issued a smock but no tunic...

With serge BD yes as it got cold in the desert at night. You might wear it with khaki drill too. You wouldnt see it out of Africa or the med though....
