Yeah the outside of the gun is plastic, however the part behind the rear sight which sits beneath the 'wood' is all metal bars etc.

U have to butcherise the back end of the metal part of the gun in order to fit it though, thats why I didnt do it to mine! Would love to have 1 thoug...
