big well done to the CIA crew, great sat, night with the 16th lads loved the morning gaming afternoon gaming me nose was sore not because of bbs but walking into walls
and i didnt get to see the ghost
come on CIA we want more games
Another corker! Everything I've come to expect form CiA; a good social, great players and a brilliant event.
Loved the site, I would never have believed you could have such a variety of combat in a site like that. Room to room in the admin area, long range firefights against armour in the tunnels and stealthy ambush and counter ambush in the pitch black of the factory. Brilliant.
I've too many highlights to list but I loved the charges, especially the one in the dark to the map room. We'd been pinned there for a while so I never expected it to succeed as well as it did.
Thanks to: all the organisers for putting on yet another excellent event, you don't yourselves proud once more. Dave Barrett for the bringing the vehicles, especially the bullet magnet, it looks awesome rolling down the tunnel towards you with the 20mm barking away. Poacher for providing the transport for all the kit i had to take and driving all the way and a special mention to PD for the 'DolbyTM in car entertainment system' for keeping us amused.
and i didnt get to see the ghost
Jamie took me into the pump room at the end of Sunday where water was brought up from a couple of bore holes and he told me it is the most haunted part of the complex - and pointed out his dog that wouldn't go in much past the door. The dog certainly looked very downcast and upset about something!!!!
Great event, thanks to everyone, poss the best one I have been too

Big thanks to all the organisers for another excellent event...
Big thanks to the very honourable Russki who informed me i had just dry fired him & then took the hit....which might explain why when a couple of minutes before i had 6 Russkis silhouetted & let fly on 'em nothing happened!
Excellent gameplay by everyone again...got a burst on a Russki who went down in a heap from a run & lay still for about 5 mins...scarily authentic..
Also getting separated from everyone for about 30 mins & creeping about sniping at Unsuspecting Russkis was a blast..
Cant say enough to thank CIA for yet another superb event...how are they going to raise the bar next time..?!

It’s a CIA game enough said. Thanks to they guys for there hard work and time witch make our games so great. Great moment for me standing behind a russky to see were he was shooting then thinking his helmet was a bit funny looking for a German and then it dawned knife killed him then shot in the ass by his three comrades behind us . And the shoot out with porter was funny mainly because my bro. Who was two meters away ignored this duel and carried on rolling a fag the git
.oh and it was a pistol Tony.
theres nowt so Permanent as temporary
Absolutely fantastic. Loved it all, even the insane death or ... death charges.
Is it legal to have that much fun?
Who was it who gave me 40 Reichmarks just before the action ?? That's the first time I've received my soldier's pay in nearly 3 years!
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

Was that shortly after Chomley was shot in the main tunnel in the afternoon? I shot someone on the corner of the wall from down a dark side-passage and they yelped... I didn't quite see who it was. Sorry if that was you Bosh!

Does that count as blind firing?
Yeah i had an ace time, loved the fact I did more bang kills than normal kills.... kind of proud of that as its rare for me
The site, all the german and russian kits looked amazing, Tops to you all for a bang on day!
"Follow me, i'm lost too!"
Does that count as blind firing?

No, because you can see that there isn't someone immediately in front of you. If you were to stick a gun over a partition or around a corner at head height without looking to check that you weren't about to fire into point blank into someone's face, that would be blind firing.

Like HS says, whoever was on the corner presented their head with their gun so therefore aiming down the sights, if it had just been the gun I would have been aiming for hands hehe
What about those engagements in the TOTALLY dark areas?
My squad took out at bunch of not-so-stealthy Ivans in the pitch dark. It was an adrenaline heavy moment and jolly good fun, but in retrospect was just as hazardous as shooting round corners. There could have been someone's ear right next to my gun muzzle for all I knew
Well I guess the only answer to that is, would you really be wasting ammo down a dark tunnel at the chance someone might have been there. If people were being cautious by shooting into dark areas through fear of being there, I dont think that classes as blind firing. If someone is close enough to get they lughole in the way of a shot in a dark place may just be a victim of unfortunate circumstances. IMHO
