Cool I have a pair of the Russian tanker goggles from that movie got them from the prop store, but I suppose you were on the movie crew you lucky bas***d :good:

Well if its ok I'll use my Großdeutschland uniform because you need a least one elite soldier on the field  .
Gun: MP40 and possible colt 1911 as a captured gun, that's if I haven't sold it by then.

:D lets see some pics.

Sov M44 uniform with shoulder boards, usual rag bag of webbing, helmet. Same as at Border Clash but I'll probably switch to high boots rather than ankle boots and puttees as I can't be doing with having them fall down all the time :)

I'd like to use my SVT40, but for CQB it is probably best on single shot, so failing that, Lend Lease Thompson or captured MP40.

I'm on the far left below, shouldn't need to actually wear my plash this time.

You bringing the Maxim Porta?

Maxim will sound even more amazing in the tunnels :good:

Not decided if the tank will be there yet and if not maybe the 37mm gun will be so that may sound nice for effect.

you have to bring the tank!! i am not too sure what you are ment to wear so would a couple of 101st guys in m42 jump suits and some webbing be ok and we both have thompsons?

Yes that would be fine any ETO US gear as it is end of the war.

Will see about the tank I have a few more things to modify over the summer maybe fit radio gear etc.

See Martin's pic above, the tall dashing fellow at the back in the middle. So basic Russian kit prob change the shoulder boards over to a assault engineer set but that's about it. Weapon wise if I get the time and funds it will be the DP28 making its debut, if not will bring my 98 and set about the hun once again.

Funny you should say this as I have been thinking we could have a few Brits on the US side for this as it will fit with plans I have.

im pretty sure thats fine, the preferance was for fledgrau, but as its berlin in 1945, pretty much anything would fit.

Looks like I'm gonna go SS and probably Wiggins and Poacher too....... Feldgrau possibly with Greatcoats.

Wiggins and I are looking to try out some spooky Koei facemasks painted in a lifelike manner - Might preview them when done.

Is it cold in the tunnels?

It's a pretty much constant 10 degrees C in there, so, it can feel a little chilly. The bonus is, no wind to deflect your shots!

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

It's cool - but more than that it's damp. Gets through to you after a while........ And the extra layer of Greatcoat means less pain when hit. Not that that is a problem but any nutter can subject themselves to pain.

I was thinking Oakleaf Panzer Coverall and black sidecap but didn't want to stand out in the tunnels......

Can also be slippy with studded boots on those concrete floors....... and makes sneaky beeky stuff difficult,
Don't forget your torches though... Are we gonna have paraffin lanterns down there again> They were brilliant on the junctions in the unlit sectors.
