With the price of petroleum distillate at an all-time high, I thought it might be an idea to start a lift sharing thread. I know it's a long time to go until the event, but it's a major consideration for whether people might book up or not.
I'll be coming via M27, M3, A34, M40, etc. I'd rather not go M25, M1, but if that suits you, shout. I'm interested in sharing or cadging a lift - I'm not fussy!

just testing the water to see if anybody is coming from near the guildford area or surrounding area up-to 15-20 miles,im not sure im going yet just checking feasibility.

And I am now sorted with a Focus estate diesel, so good MPG, and just about enough room for two who are not travelling light!

That's good news on the car front, Sounds a bit more comfortable than my diesel van

Gav Graham and myself are seriously considering the event but want to see closer to the time who Actually 100% is going.
Once we know that we will book and I would be up for car sharing.

Well, if you don't mind popping into Birmingham I'm 5 minutes from M6 J6, but we can work out the detail closer to the time.

Thinking of going along to my first game in 3 yrs! (last game was in Drakelow tunnels as a ruskie (CIA)) just out of interest is anybody going down from St Helens/Liverpool?

Hi Steiner I know this is extremely late notice but I only just saw this post and you are probably nowhere near us but me and a friend simply can't get up there. Are you passing anywhere near Somerset/Shepton mallet at all? we would pay for fuel of course but we really wish to go but my buddy had a car accident and isn't permitted to go up to the midlands
