Despite a cold and tons of work I really should be concentrating on I still have every intention of being foolhardy and irresponsible and turning up at 4.30pm on Friday night. I am slightly worried I may now be on my own... in the dark woods... the cold, dark woods...

I'm just getting over a rather horrible 'thingy' that I've had for the last few days. Until this morning I'd only managed to eat a bowl of pasta and some toast and yoghurt since Monday night and most of what I ate on Monday was vomited or shat out in short order on Tuesday. I spend all day in bed on Tuesday and still feel pretty shitty today.
This has thrown my entire week out of kilter and I'm in no position to get my kit ready and spend 2 days away from home as there a loads of things I needed to do this week before I could think about attending.
Shame as I was looking forward to it.

Well that's all those cans sprayed gold and boxed up, my kitchen (yes, had to use the kitchen) will smell of paint fumes for a bit yet.
The Doughboy pack is packed, the boots have been dubbin-ed and the .30Cal has been all fixed back up.
Me & Ed should be there for 3.00 - 3.30 with some of the HQ kit, mainly the flysheet, so yes, any extra hands / experience will be welcome. We want to put that up and 5 pup tents in as much light as we can. I want to set up camp where the HQ will be tomorrow so we don't have to move it tomorrow.
We'll see you chaps there on Saturday morning.
