Well I'm loosely basing myself on a mix of a pic from osprey partisan warfare and a photo of a woman sniper :? currently being done on much cheapness and utilising items I can use for other stuff  once I've gathered what I need then I'll stick a piccie up in the relevant section

Great coat wise, its no worse than running around with sweat dripping from your face in a ushanka ;) am sure some will turn purple if its mild  so I think I'm going pilotka/headscarf :ghey:

I'm sure it will look great Helga, especially when you're stood against a tree, waiting to be shot along with your fellow red terrorists.

Lol, I'm happy to die for the fatherland, fighting off the red hordes with my Waffen SS brothers! :D I'm sure this will happen several times over the weekend!

I've just put my deposit down a K98 and am intending to come as a Kraut to this one. However I'll have to wait a week until payday to pay.

Edited: Or not as the feckin' parents have just reminded me it's my Godson's confirmation service in Ireland on the 11th. :(

Ebay is great for partisan think I've spent so far

£2 on a pair of putties
£3 on a pair of wool trews
£2.50 on a wool shirt
£2 on a partisan star
And a hat I'm being gifted
Above include postage ;)
Boots I already have so didn't need to consider that, but its stupidly easy to get a partisan feel if you find a picture to use and then work from there :D

How cheap ? and I might add other items I already possess to the ensemble as yet  will have to see how it all pulls together once I have my grubby mits on it all 8)

Blimey Helga, that's probably cheaper than charity shops!

That's the great thing about the partisans uniform System-M - there isn't one. Think 1940's Russian working man's civies and you have the look!

Plenty of places for Bryansk still...

Some of it I guess is knowing where or indeed what to look for on ebay  , but yes charity shops would be another avenue for a chap. I did have a look but all the trews in the shops near me would land near my fankles.... not such a good look whilst trying to run away from the krauts, even if it would distract them momentarily
Partisan it has to be said I guess can be as expensive as you want it to be, I went for the uber cheap option as I reenact. The trews are ex police very old ones so they should stand up to roughing it in the woods better than a civilian pair (hopefully)

As an aside though if you do brit already and are struggling the brown wool trews would look fine as civilian ;) so would be one less thing to buy  you'd just need to have an alternative top or you'd get shot from both sides
