.....ah

on second thoughts ..

....knowing you .....

........you'd better bring the whole wardrobe

She won't be there. She's dropping me in Clun then heading somewhere for a walk. She will be joining us for food though!

Woot - more undressing!

Just a thought S - any chance she would be up for a bit of partisan posing, it would be good to get a female sniper in some pics. Modeling fee is lunch (at your expense :P ).

No, not got no smokes & can't get any before Sunday unless couriered from somewhere.

Hmm, not sure she'd be up for that. Will ask though....

Regarding smoke, paraffin poured onto embers works a treat, but is a bit messy.

Now then, what were those smoke bombs that the american kids put up on YouTube? I can't remember what they used but it wasn't difficult....

Heh, just looked it up - they are saltpetre/sugar mixes, wouldn't like to be caught with that in the car (along with uniforms an weapons!).

Perhaps Jay has a source of smokes close to hand?

Nah should be ok within reason . Bear in mind we won't have any IED crew to explain if the locals get restless.

Ive also got 2 or 3 smokes lying around somewhere. Will brings those if needed.

I was gonna bring my winter ruskie kit and possibly the summer one, Soviet flag on handheld flagpole :D and an MP40. Want me to bring the not so ruskie M40 based sniper rifle?

Whats the modern kit for? I could bring a cheapsoft Druganov if that helps.

No longer involved in airsoft.

All sounds good . I'll pick you up at 7 am from home on the Sunday .

Modern kit is for another event being held later at the same site .

Well, we now have a female partisan sniper available for the shoot! Only thing is I only have one great coat. God knows where my other one went, may have lost it when I lent it to someone, dammit, I paid 50p for that!!! Can anyone supply clothing??

She also speaks a little Russian.....not that it's of any use.....

My greatcoat will be huge on her (bit too big for me) but it's great she is willing to get involved. I'm sure we can sort something between us or improvise - I've just fished out some hessian potato sacks so we can cut it up into a shawl or sommat. I'll bring the jute scrim that Poacher donated to us for wrapping the rifle...

I haven't shaved this week in preparation but I don't mind just doing the snaps - I've got ideas floating through my mind already. Let's out-Stubble and get some atmospheric stuff!

Ive got a soviet rain cape that she could wear. Trouble is it would need something else period underneath, mind you as a partisan a shirt would do fine I suppose. Or a wooly jumper.

No longer involved in airsoft.

I'm wearing my 'Dutch' partisan kit and a Brit great coat over the top. If necessary she could wear my coat and I could borrow something else as it fits her well.

To be honest, I think she's looking forward to it. A chance to relive the heady days of the Communist Regime!

I asked her what her parents would think and she wasn't too sure, but knew they'd be happier that she was dressing up as a Russian rather than German!
