Calling all men to the front line,

D-Day - 'Battle for Caen'

Battle weekender, Sennybridge Training facility, Wales.

27-28 March 2010

ONLY £85 for the whole weekend pre-book
£95 on the gate.

Welcome to D-Day events and Gunman Airsoft’s WWII Battle weekend.

August 1944
The outskirts of the Caen.

After the defeated troops of hill 112 finally returned to their camps and so many lives lost, morale is not high in the British Second Army and the hill has remained operational and in German hands. After a series of failed attempts to crack the German sprit a huge bombardment of British artillery, navel guns and aerial bombing has pushed the German troops from the city centre to the north and west of the Caen. However this has left its roads blocked by ruble and craters which mean the infantry will not be getting support from their heavy and medium tanks. The town centre has become a series of infantry based close quarters battle to the last. Who’s flag will fly over what’s left of Caen’s government centre by the Sunday and will the Allies be able to look at their foothold in Normandy as anything other than fractured.

Come and join the D-Day team and enjoy the Roller Coaster that is ‘THE BATTLE OF CAEN’

For more information on any D-Day events please email: enquiries@gunmanairsoft.co.uk or call our office on 01223 871207 or visit our website http://www.ddayairsoft.com

paypal is now sorted to the new Filmsim account: sales@filmsim.co.uk or cheques payable to:
Filmsim Ltd,
20 Norfolk Terrace
Cambridge
CB1 2NG

booking form will be attached as soon as the site is confirmed

Only 120 places, 55 Axis and 65 Allies. This will be done on a first come first served basis, however I already have pre-bookings rolling in so dont leave it too late.

@ Gadge, are you thinking of Hallamshires for this or something new?

"Will you stop talking about the war!!"
"What, you started it!"
"We did NOT start it!"
"Yes you did, you invaded Poland..."

I didn't think the US were at Caen, I thought that they were further south busy with their own landings

Hi Wraith, you very correct, but to get 120 guys to the site we need to be a bit flexable for those that don't have more than one load-out or the dosh to kit up :good:

As with most of our battles we try to get the experience of a movie in the field, so its full of action on an Epic skale. Hence Filmsim. :good:

I must make this clear as I wouldn't want guys shelling out money for an experience they didnt expect, Gunman runs very high quality ww2 airsoft NOT ww2 reenactment weekends using airsoft.

cheers guys

I've not got a problem with it, I was talking to some of the old boys from the British legion last weekend that were there, should be a blast, i just need a proper rifle now instead of my M1A1

Only got one loadout at the moment, and as much as i would love to say i'll have a vast array by the game i very much doubt it will happen. So would a penniless schmuck in a US M43 based loadout be exceptable? :(
