As a German, in our defense all we saw when quickly peeking is some guy dressed as a tommy pointing something at us -- we're not gonna stop to check if you're a cameraman, you're gonna get shot xD At 6:03 in the longer video that was me popping up with some dude's STG (after I tried to revive him but he died anyways) and mowing you all down Once again, you were caught in the cross fire but dressed as a tommy. As far as I'm concerned, you're just another tommy
Hi Epsilon,
Don't worry, as far as I'm concerned you don't have to justify or defend your actions. I had a great day. All is fair in war and I was well aware of the risks of laying down my SMG and picking up the camera for 30 mins. WW2 Airsoft is a very friendly and safe environment to play in and airsofters in our genre and community are without a doubt of the highest caliber around. I know it wasn't on purpose. I suppose I could have put on a high vis jacket. Problem is I think it spoils the realism/ atmosphere a bit for everyone gaming, so I stayed in character and was happy to pay the price!
Bizarrely it's actually quite good footage as the BBs fly in
I hope you enjoyed the videos

One of the guys in game floated the idea (after shooting you lol) of wearing a red cross uniform when filming to keep realism, but also separate you from the rest. I thought this wasn't a bad idea, of course it would mean having to buy another uniform, and most red cross were women trying to join the war effort, but a bit of cross dressing never hurt anyone, right?
Pa ha, at last, I have always wanted a reason to don my Red Cross uniform!
I don't think it would help though as in my experience friendly fire/ green on blue fire is enevitable regardless of what you wear. Just ask any one who has marshalled. It's enevitable.
In fact I would say I have been killed by more friendly fire than enemy fire in the past 12 months

Superb vids mate, I saw josh's antics I was in stitches.
I was the jerry waiting for a medic at the front of the fort in the longer vid at 2.29, didn't realise that had been filmed, 'long way to Tipperary' and all hehe
Good memories!
