Just so it doesn't get lost, a new thread.

Webby's day game was £30 which wasn't unreasonable - there were plenty of bangs and smokes and luch available for those that wanted it. I recon this sets the benchmark.

Bibby's fee to us will be £20 if we go for catering, leaving a margin of £10 less paypal fees.

If we go for 60 players tops and give CiA members a £5 discount and get 30 members playing the revenue will be something like £450. If the max players is 50 the revenue might be £350 (or £250 min to £500 max). More than enough to cover expenses I would have thought.

Yes, catering will break the day (it is possible to rotate players out of game - we did it at D-Day +2 but all that happened was strategy and gameplay went poo over luch and some people missed out altogether) but they will be warm and it cuts the faff factor.

Right, Matlock issue resolved. :ghey:

Can we agree on £30 with lunch thrown in? Gross 'profit' to us £10 per head non-CiA, less than that for CiA members depending on how much pyro we give them.

Once this is agreed we can get up the bookings ASAP....

Kitty is approx 700 notes - £500 in bank £200 with Guy

So, we don't need to make money on this game but it would be nice to maintain a float for future project use...

Stephen - could you get a booking thread up so we can get this game rolling?

Can I also suggest that we keep Guy's £200 off the accounts in some way? Unless you can think of an elegant way to include it in there Chommers?

Meh, there's enough on there and they are whetted anyway!

Guy and I will do a site recce weekend after next if you can make it. I have a book about the British involvement that was hushed up (for political reasons, nothing disgraceful) on it's way to me so I'll have an outline of who, what, why, when later in the week. In fact I can put a more circumspect outline up tonight.

In the meantime punters just need to say German, US or Brit, initial list of 20 Allied, 20 Axis and say it will incrementally increase to a maximum of 30 per side.

Can I also suggest that we keep Guy's £200 off the accounts in some way? Unless you can think of an elegant way to include it in there Chommers?

You can put it down as 'Other Income' and balance it with another 'Cash' account - much as I did when I still had a bit of CiA money..

Already done the thread anyways.

Coolio on the cash. Need to get it to me asap so I can keep it all together. I've put a line in for AFRA fees so I could take some of it as that too. Guy - I need copies of the registration forms for my paper trail.

Heh, that was a flurry of bookings!

I amended your post Stephen to add a line about over 18's, since the kiddies bought up the question!

Cool. I expect a load of Allies to book up as there's quite a bit of talk on it in the Allied forum.

Have noted and posted that ABN should be 82nd. ;) With the usual 'anything goes' caveats of course.

Aye, 82nd got pulled out from Trois Ponts area and regrouped to the West. AFAIK all the 101st were down at Bastogne.
Even so, this game is really an infantry/armored battle so would be nice to see something more than Airborne, not that it matters too much!

Not much I can do about that I'm afraid, short of a Lottery win.....

Heh, I didn't mean for you to change kit but it would be nice to encourage more infantry loadouts...
