So he fit's in here quite well then 
my entrenching tool helve wont stay in the loops on the pouch, keeps falling out, any ideas how to fix this? ( i did think of drilling a hole in it and tying it on with string)
If you pack the pouch out with your cleaning kit (as some of the period documentaion shows) it makes the helve a tighter fit.
In my etool cover i have:
E-tool head
two boots brushes
bulling cloth
spare rifle pull through
boot polish
It does all fit....

thats what i like about you gadge, that " can do " attitude lol, i will give them to yith at husky, not in any hurry for them, still need boots and gaiters to finish my south staffs load out.
I can lend you a pair of anklets if you need them to play as a brit.
As for boots... YOu can get away with a nicked replacement pair of us ones.. say your heel came off coming out the glider and you find a pair your size on a dead spam.

P.S As a chappie of 6'4" and a trim 18 stone 42" waist will i have problems getting webbing to fit?
sangrael is selling off some mostly new (repro) Brit webbing for really rather cheap for the larger gent (sizes which you won't find in original kit).

I was thinking of buying just the cross-straps, but if someone like pilgrimtone needs a complete set of repro' stuff and especially as a first load-out, then I thought I should point it out and not be greedy and bag just the cross-straps myself
