The top right might be Regimental Sargent Major Rank badge the sort worn on a leather wrist strap, the one below it is almost certainly a Royal Marine collar badge.
Top Left is the Machine gun corps
I think the bottom one is royal artillary but no idea on the far left one ? Il ask my dad the story behind the badges when they were worn by who ect im quite interested in finding out myself now, i also have this
it says "Armbandkompaß, Baudmuster: AK39" my grandad traded it for some cigarets or a packet of sweets or somthing during the 2nd world war (he was a minesweeper) its made out of a sort of plastic construction (probably so it floats) do any of you you know annything about this ?

Lower right is Royal Marines.

From the pic u supplied it looks like the glass is either dirty/marked or just a bad pic? Also looked like there are air bubbles?
No its not dirty my dad had put it in the fridge to try and get rid of the bubble which as the pictures you geve me show that the bubble is supposed to be there not that i plan to sell it annyway.
Top right could be the general service cap badge. Mid right could be the lower half of the RM officers cap badge, it looks a bit big for a collar dog?
Signs of repair on the RA badge, interesting. No idea on the pin.

Ha thats confusing Sargent Majors badge General service badge http://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/image ... -BADGE.jpg confusing?

In Uniforms of the WWII Tommy by David Gordon, on page 247 there is a picture of the cap badge and collar dogs of the Royal Marines and the collar dogs are the same size as the cap badge but minus the crown and lion.
The top left Machine Gun Corps badge is more than likely WW1to inter-War (1915 to 1922 - though, when integrated into the cavalry these badges sometimes remained, latest being 1936 theoretically, though not into infantry). When the Machine Gun Corps disbanded to become Machine Gun Platoons (and then later to be Infantry fielded Machine Gun Companies), the badges worn would have been that of whichever Regiment the Battalion sporting the MGs belonged to. After 1936, independent Infantry Machine Gun Regiments were set up out of the Middlesex Regiment, Manchester Regiment, Cheshire Regiment, 13th London Regiment and Royal Northumberland Fusiliers - again with each retaining their own Regimental badges. I can't give any info on weather that type of cap badge would have still been in use with Motor Battalions or not during WW2.
...so yeah, it's most probably inter-war
