In the past i have scoffed at people wanting to convert RAC helmets/shells into Airborne ones-UNtil Now :good: :good: :good:

Check this out-not British issue i know but looks like the Belgians converted them OFFICIALLY :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

In the past 10-15 years when Belgian Airborne helmets were common(not now) and easily available i would estimate ive owned 6-7 but NEVER until now seen a converted RAC one.

Not a botch job either-done with all correct parts fittings etc.The holes where the original chinstrap rivets were have been filled? and are still slightly visible but easily sorted with a repaint or covered with a helmet net and some scrim.The hole at the top as been fillled? better as it isnt visible at all.

Helmet fits a size 58(very snug) and is for sale with a K+C Denison in the for sale section.
