Translation:

Superb repro (NEW) from the famous jacket jumping French Denison Smock worn by paratroopers English in almost all operations. Used also by the French SAS. This is a second type of jacket with zip on half the length. The beaver tail is present and can press stud on the back (or the front of course).

The size is an X-Large on the following measures flat:
Shoulder ... 62cm
Chest ... 74cm
Arm ... 58cm
Length ... 85cm

(The picture is not great because of the lighting).
Take a look in my ebay store or contact me for more information.

There are but they are no cheaper.

The SOF one is the best priced UK source for a very good smock.

Not often you can say SOF are cheaper than anyone else

Please be aware though that i believe the NEW/LATEST batch of these smocks comes in a WASHED/AGED look which isnt to everybodys taste-I havent seen one so cannot comment myself.

Yeah the first batch are spot on (indistinguishable form my K&C one), the next lot were slightly greener but still look very good, not seen the aged ones.

I wish people woudlnt do the 'aged' shit. They were brand new in 1944 and at best a year old and had been on a few training exercises...

Wearing kit ages it... its stupid to make pre aged stuff.

Yes you have... they've been worn at various events you been to. They're just so similar to the others that you've not noticed!

Yes. What is it with the 'stonewashed' look alot of manufacturers seem to be going for at the moment? It doesn't make stuff look old or used, just crap.

My one was listed as aged, I believe they had one size that you could get unaged, but it wasn't my size.

The Chinese manufacturer did have an 'agent' in the UK but I suspect this was a temporary arrangement as it was well before SoF picked up on it.

Buying direct from the UK agent saves you the equivalent of SOF's postage, who charge £100 PLUS post, the UK agent charges £100 including post but does take paypal as well, which SOF don't.

Hi.. I'm just about to order a Rangercamp Denison direct from Richard and I was hoping one of you guys with previous knowledge might give me a second opinion on the right size..
I'm just under 5' 11" in my bare feet and just under 6' 0" in shoes/boots, I have a 41"-42" chest and 32" waist, should I definately go for a size 5 or would a size 4 be a better fit..??
One other point.. Is he still doing the aged look or has he bowed to pressure and gone back to the older colours with his new stock?? .. Any advice to a newbie would be greatly appreciated..
Regards Chris.

I'd go for a 5.
