For those posting "get booked, show us yer money' posts" - I've already discussed with Josh some of my reasons for not attending his Longmoor based game. Which I don't wish to discuss with attending players.
I am offended that you think I am part of a 'orrible lot, a dilly-dallier not signing and paying for this event.
I hope you have a great weekend? Hopefully you wont be disappointed paying $8.5 per hour for playing?
Look forward to hearing/reading the after game reports - have a great 10 hours.

He's only said what a lot of people are thinking. He may not have been subtle about it, but he aint wrong....

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........
No, he's not wrong but the Gunman section isn't the place to put it! And it may alarm people who have already forked out £85 unnecessarily.
Anyhoo, just been on the phone to Dell and all is cool.

Sorry, you're going to have to explain. Has the post been removed by Josh? I think Del is perfectly within his rights to make that comment TBH.
I take great exception to someone posting 'If you only attend one WW2 airsoft event this year, make it Carentan" on this forum!!!!
If Josh has deleted the post, I'll be pretty annoyed and would urge you to remove his ability to delete other users' posts.
Also Josh tweeting on about not having the resources to post up a player list. Does he understand that we have full time jobs!?

Couldn't care less if people are alarmed, The Gunman forum is the perfect place to put it. As you said last week, the reaction to Josh has to come from the punters and it looks like it is.

I deleted it and explained the reasons to Dell by phone.

I don't see why. Josh's game is too expensive and he's being very cagey about it all.

It may not be to our taste but there are quite a few players who like Josh and Josh's games.
We (and others) might feel the game is too expensive - others don't and have happily paid up.
CiA don't like the way Josh goes about things, others aren't fussed.
Webby paid out £200 for a game the other week and he thought it was money well spent - I wouldn't. Is Webby wrong?
We really can't start acting like Fluffy and Beaker, banning sites and forum users because we don't like them - this is a forum that purports to be the Home of WW2 Airsoft in the UK. We need to foster the community, not split it. Dell's post only serves to needle Josh and players for the game some of which it would be nice to try out one of our games sometime...

If a punter has a comment to make let them make it. Then it's between punters.
If one of us made that comment then yes, it would have been a little off. I think deleting the post that someone has made about their thoughts on Josh's game is equally as much like ASSCOCK imho.

OK, no worries, I'm out voted two to one (I did what I thought was best and solicited the opinion of the only other mod on the forum at the time).
I can reinstate his post, no problem, if you are sure it's a wise post?

No, well it's done now. Seems silly to reinstate it.
I've only just seen your post in the 'Website' forum with Yith. I guess that means the post was reported.

Heh, I reported it!
(Dell has had the last laugh by having another little dig in Josh's section!)
Slightly off topic - Porta posted some derogatory remarks about Stirling wannabes on Webby's Yank training day thread. Webby complained to me as he is a Stirling regular and has mates involved so wasn't happy. It was a pointless and needlessly inflammatory remark by Porta but as the thread had been trampled on by Yith, Gadge and Sgt Heide insisting on period tactical training that the idea had gone flat on Webby, so he asked me to remove the whole thread. I did explain to Webby that he was a little to blame - 'floating' an idea is only going to lead to others sticking their oar in. He should have prepared a done-deal and invited people to book on that schedule - if they book, they book!

Cool, although I do agree that period tactics would be more fun.....

I don't disagree but if that's what Webby wanted to do... I wouldn't have been interested in anything 'Stirling' myself!
BTW, Webby did ask me if I knew of where he could get hold of US tactical information (so the message has got home) but I have no idea. Do you Stephen?

Yep:

Could you pass them on to Webby please, much appreciated.

No i agree with you ...this forum should not descend into slagging ..it would be shit . Del has posted a lot of dodgy shit recently, I suspect he's not having a good time of it recently .
