Had a long chat to Pete Dunn tonight .

He's well pissed off with Chris. Feels he's buggered off and left em all in the lurch , esp as a lot of them have started buying kit to conform with the KGSS rules.
I gave him a bit of background, but didn't labour it . Pete said Chris hasn't even bothered to phone him ....

Petes keen to keep it going (mainly coz he's bought the kit), but wants to keep it firmly airsoft and nuts to the reenacting wannabe.Quote him "I don't want to fuck about with photoshoots I wanna have a laugh with some mates playing airsoft" . Sums it up for me too .

I've pointed him towards John M , and suggested he keeps it smaller and more focused. he agree saying trying to run platoons was bonkers .

He's also given me some dates he might be able ot make in Sept/Oct !!as he's struggling this year .

Yes, that's good. John doesn't want to take a leading role but he is still keen to carry on.

I'm slightly worried that they are banging on with the idea of get-togethers - surely the best and most productive get-together is a game!

Still, I think a 'hands off' policy is the way forward - let these groups be player-led with CiA offering back up and help when asked for/needed.
