Which reminded me - I did a load of factory shots at a Bentonite plant 25 years ago, all the milling and separating plant. I couldn't believe all the uses it was put to. A bit like china clay - it's everywhere you look!
It's great for taking additives out of Dieso and Petrol. PIRA were filtering HUGE amounts of red dieso in the south, then shifting it to the north and flogging it on as road fuel. Pity that as well as taking out the red dye, it also takes out the rest of the additive package...
