so should have hurt alot less hehe. I did apologise to the chap later. the captain didnt mention he was sending people forward so seeing someone walking back I thought it was a german.
I can explain what happened at the fort this morning.
Despite the rather good flanking the fort was being held very well by the Germans so Josh asked Chomley about the arty attack on the fort to prevent the game bogging down and he agreed.
Once we were bounced by that the German plan was to move onto the other arty and destroy it and leave the fort alone, but game over was called one hour early. Still have no idea why.
The arty by the fort was destroyed....by me....with the help of TLFX's excellent pyro! Tee hee!! Lots of fun with bangs.

when we first lost the fort we actually went back to respawn and said right lets blow it up with the piece we have left. we asked the marshall and he said sure after checking with josh but josh then appeared and changed his mind. Said it wasnt fair etc.
So thats where the idea came from heh. Its very interesting to hear all the different sides of this

indeed Rhysd2 i think i was standing next to you for most of it racking up kills especially when the nazi stumvehicle (the landrover) appeared and lots of nazis jump from the back, cleverly concealing this with a camera man.
I reckon Lonewolf is your best bet for pictures and video of it all. I also spoke to the guy from AI and enquired about a photodump of the pictures that won't make it into the magazine. I forget the AI photographers' name but he was a great sport, right in the thick of it and taking hundreds of photos (and hits!).

hehe yes I think you were mate. alot of the time i was stood under the roofed section with the brit chap that was just using a 45. that landrover trick was very dirty 
one of the yank chaps had a helmet cam on too so hopefully josh will get ahold of the various pictures and footage

Gamewise it was all pretty good, knowing virtually all the Germans meant it was a far more enjoyable experience. Only knew a few of the regulars on the other side , twas a pity not to meet up with some other of the forum peeps there.
