Joining Instructions for DDay

All players will be able to enter the site from 2pm Friday 2nd November .
At the gate you’ll be issued with your player ticket, which includes your unique reference number for the event . If you’ve not paid already , then you’ll be asked to pay on the gate . Suggest Cash is King or a cheque, not sure Josh has a card machine . If you arrive after 10pm you’ll have ot register/pay in the morning.

After registration, you will be shown to your camping areas. On the Friday cars will be allowed up to these areas so you can easily unpack , however they will need to be moved to the nearby carpark either Friday night or Saturday morning to get them out of the gaming area . You’ll be staying in the same camp both nights , and the cars are nearby so you can decide what to leave at camp and what to pack away .

Most of the CiA crew will be there on the Friday , so there will be some familiar faces about to help out . Feel free to walk down to the beach , just do it unarmed on the Friday . Obviously Friday night is a social, non shooting night , so disconnect mags and batteries. A few beers as ever is ok , rampantly getting pissed and setting off pyros is not , although I feel stating this is not really necessary given the great social evenings we enjoyed in the past :D . Josh is getting some fires going and some lighting organised so it should be a good evening , before we go to war on Saturday .

If you’re planning on getting down on the Saturday ,suggest try to arrive before 9.30 , to give you chance to set up tents , mag up etc, game on will be at 12 and those couple of hours will pass really quick , especially considering the time taken for deployment to the beach .

The way will be signposted from the last roundabout at Bridgend , bear in mind mobile reception on site is non existent so get a clear view where you are going before you set off.

Final reminder about comfort , hopefully it will be a clear weekend for rain , however plan for the worst weatherwise and you’ll be set to enjoy the event regardless .

PS have just heard some interesting news about the artillery pieces ….they will be like no other you’ve seen when they start kicking off.... the V1 explosions at CR will seem tame in comparison ...
