Give fellows players a lift - share the petrol costs - beat the credit crunch & save the planet at the same time!

If you have space available please indicate your start point, route, day and time of departure and space available - thank you!

Worth a post to see.

I would like to make the game, but am unable to get myself to the 'down south'. If there is anyone capable of offering a lift from the North - Yorkshire - then I would be grateful to hear.

Cheers
Craig

Thanks Yith, I am 'looking into it.'

Though I shall have to ask, what day(s) and times?

and

Will the train people/metal detectors get exceedingly angry with me if there is a metal revolver in my backpack. :shock:

Hi, I will be leaving for Portsmouth at about 3pm on the Sat from Hoylake, top of Wirral if anyone needs a lift along the way? Will have room for 2 or even three passengers depending on the amount of kit!

You won't need masses of kit for this one.

Heh... even I might manage to reduce the amount of kit I bring this time. I usually bring far too much! lol

Don't forget the spare trousers though, just in case it gets really scary.

Er...I didn't mean my kit necessarily... just four people and their gear takes a lot of space... it's a big car but if someone wants a lift and brings their pet elephant...

wait for it...

theres not that much room in the trunk :rofl:

OK it was P***Poor as a joke :roll:

OK for lifts, just post or PM closer to the date so I can get a map sorted for the pickup.

I'll be driving from the M25/M3 region some time Saturday afternoon, although I wouldn't object to picking up from Waterloo station (or Portsmouth station). I'll have a van so heaps of gear not a problem.

Im going from Crewe.

Saturday 25th
Crewe 10:01 -> Gets into Wolverhampton 10:31
Wolverhampton 10:40 -> Gets into Southampton 13:40
Southampton 14:13 -> Gets into Portchester 14:45

Sunday 26th
Portchester 18:00 -> Gets into Southampton 18:40
Southampton 19:15 -> Gets into Stafford 23:11
Stafford 23:22 -> Gets into Crewe 23:44

I'm sure both there and back goes through Birmingham New Street Marsha if that helps?
Just depends on what time the game finishes I guess.

I'm sure if you asked nicely you could get someone to pick you up from the station too, or share a taxi.

I would offer a lift, but I'm already cadging one with another organiser so no space I'm afraid!

Yeah, by road I think its about 2 miles, so what £4 in a taxi? Could book 1 for the return leg whilst we're there too
