Wotan II Game Plan

Saturday Evening

1: Set dressing - Radio Room, comms, office to be decided upon on the day. Their location is not really important!
2: Intel materials to be hidden on site.

Sunday

09:00 Hrs to 09:30 Hrs - Admin and Site Setup

Admin (Steve and Jay)

Booking in. Each player to pick up a bandage, lightstick and map. Players must be informed that kick off is PROMPTLY at 09:30 hrs and they need to be bombed up and ready to go. Also, remind them that they do NOT need to take any fucking gun bags into the zone with them.

Site Setup (David and Guy)

Turn on CD players around the site. RTB. Mingle with Troops, kick em up the arse to get ready.

09:30 Hrs to 09:45Hrs – Inspection & CiA Game Briefing

Inspection, thanks to UCAP etc etc.

09:45 Hrs to 10:00 Hrs - Germans

All Germans (except the "sentry") to be led off to Initial German Deployment zone in the room halfway up the stairs at the back of the site. Andy will then give them the UCAP safety talk then disappear back to give the Allies their briefing. Give them the CiA rules and specific game rules and briefing (see thread "player briefing") As soon as they have been briefed, send out 3 two man patrols at short intervals to patrol the site on set routes (routes up to German CO - avoid Allied CP please!) At 10:20, if no enemy have been found, send a small patrol to the guard post at the entry of the site (see map, annotated "Sentry Location") When they find the body, get them to raise the alarm, then crash the guardroom out.

Sentry. Leave one person (whom we can trust), to sleep by the Allied Entry Point. Brits/Yank CO's, get one of your rubber knife brigade to slot him. It needs to be a German player that we TRUST to do this job. He must not react, just act as a sleeping man whose just had his throat cut. German OC, OC2 to inform the chosen one during booking in. Tell him to keep his gob shut. Once found (or its already kicked off) he should return to the German CP1 to rejoin the side.

Order of events.

1: Move to "Initial German Deployment"
2: UCAP Briefing (Andy will then go and brief Allies)
3: CiA Rules, Event Specific Rules, Player briefing
4: Send out Patrols.
5: If the balloon hasn't already gone up, at 10:20, get patrol out to relieve sentry.
6: Crash the Guardroom out. Germans to move to German CP1

09:45 Hrs to 10:00 Hrs - Allies

Give Brits/Yanks the CiA Rules, event-specific rules and game briefing. After Andy returns, he will brief on UCAP Rules. Once fully briefed, allies are to enter the complex in groups of three or four and make their way to the Allied CP1. Warn the first group (the rubber knife brigade!)to be aware of a sentry that will need eliminating silently on entering the complex. Avoid German troops whilst making their way to the Allied CP1. Stagger the entry of groups by a few minutes. Inform them that they must NOT engage the Germans. Their initial job is to RV with the rest of the group at Allied CP1 WITHOUT being spotted by the Germans! At 10:20, if the Allies have not already been spotted and the German Guardroom crashed out, then a patrol will be sent from the Germans to relieve the sentry. Once found dead, the alarm will be raised.

Order of events.

1: CiA Rules, Event Specific Rules, Player briefing
2: UCAP Briefing
3: Infiltrate site, slot sentry, send players out to Allied CP1 in small groups - quietly!
4: Start searching the site.

10:30 (ish!) Hrs to 13:00 Hrs – both sides

Both sides to attempt to recover intelligence noted in the “Evac Plan” and “Part One orders” - as briefed to the Germans and Allies earlier. In addition, each side should send out recce patrols to deny the enemy search teams freedom to operate. In the AM period, the bases are out of play, in the afternoon (when they have moved) they are in play. Suggest a password system be used be both sides.Blue on blue contacts suck!

13:00 Hrs to 13:50 Hrs

Lunch. This will be initiated by the air raid siren. Instant cease-fire and return to safezone.

13:50 to 14:00 Hrs

Both sides to return to CP1, respectively.

14:00 Hrs

Air raid siren goes off. Game on! Explain to players that the site is under heavy allied bombardment, and that the CP’s must be moved – along with any Intel gathered – to the secondary position (see attached map)

14:00 Hrs to 16:00 Hrs

As with the morning session, continue to send out search teams, and fighting patrols. Bases are now open and can be attacked - you must task people to provide base defence.

16:00 Hrs

Lights will be randomly flipped between red, none & white. Assault and hold the "control centre" in the Map room. At 16:30 Hrs it will be Pyro'd (under UCAP direction - makes it easier if they do it, instead of one of us) Whoever is holding the control centre is deemed to have either destroyed the system before the Germans can use it (Allied objective) or destroyed it before the Allies can capture it (German objective)

16:30 hrs

Control centre is blown, game over. Fire the air raid siren up to signify ENDEX. Return to Safezone. All CiA Organisers (and any helpers we can grab) to recover CiA game gear from the playing area.

And finally….

Fuck off home!-- attachment is not available --

Makes sense though. Gives us a good three hours to do a walk-around and get it set up.

Dave, that means midday pick-up from my parent's place if that's coolio.

Ive got the vast majority of the heavy stuff, and with the sacktruck it means it can all get carted into the site easily.
